The renovation of Rockford City Hall’s exterior posed a unique challenge: repair structural damage to the cornice in the City Hall tower without altering its appearance. For such an important design-build project we chose to renew a long-standing partnership with Sjostrom & Sons, a local contractor. We were asked to act as the construction manager, requested by the City.  The City of Rockford recognized the difficulty and uniqueness of the proposed project and confidently selected our team for the $900,000 restoration without bidding.
