Gary W. Anderson Architects is a full service architectural, planning and urban design firm with a diverse history of preservation, adaptive reuse, new construction, and visionary planning. Since 1982, our vision and mission has been to partner with individuals, organizations and communities to improve the quality of life through design. We are known as an industry leader for adaptive reuse of existing structures and historic preservation.

Over the last 30 years we have given new life to architecturally and culturally significant structures that are crucial to a communities image and identity.

Our multidisciplinary structure allows us to integrate visioning, strategy, cost analysis, and design to deliver high quality and award winning projects. Big picture thinking is sometimes crucial to the overall decision-making process for any organization. The majority of our projects have benefited greatly from investing time in envisioning tomorrow while responding to today’s needs and wishes.

Our experience includes governmental structures, industrial facilities, laboratories, schools, museums, medical and dental clinics, training facilities, visitor centers, retail, restaurants, multi-family, loft units, nursing and health care facilities, offices, courthouses, police and fire facilities, libraries, mortuaries, churches and a variety of recreational facilities. That variety of experiences benefits our clients.

We offer a wide perspective of knowledge and experience to each of our clients projects. Our work on existing structures has also provided us with a wealth of information and knowledge in how building products perform and how crucial building maintenance is. We have also established long term working relationships with many of our clients.
